A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a professional who works with you on an on-going basis to complete tasks. A Virtual Consultant (VC) is a professional who completes highly specialized projects on an as-needed basis. Both VAs and VCs work at their location, act as independent contractors, and provide their own equipment. This means you save money in the costs associated with having an employee, but you have the benefit of a professional level assistant or consultant working with you.
A virtual client is the person who secures the services of a VA or a VC. It is similar to the relationship between a business and a consultant or other independent contractor.
